Uk Customs Are Definately Seizing All Gloves They Find

I blame wolvereine and the X menjokes aside sideshow sell the metal blades and they are mounted to a display board so maybe their could be a way around this if the gloves where mounted in some way ?

I'd be happy to receive the 4 fingers seperately to the glove and backplate, and then rivet them myself.You could then label the fingers as agricultural tool parts and they should get through fine.For those saying these couldn't really be weapons, they could be extremely dangerous with very little modification, and I'm guessing that stories such as this one <a href=\"http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-23391602-horror-fan-slashed-sleeping-pals-face-with-freddy-krueger-style-glove.do\" target=\"_blank\">Horror Fan Slashes Friends Face With Krueger Glove</a> don't help matters very much....

You can't walk around with knives either, or scissors. But it is illegal to bring offensive weapons into the country without a license/written consent from the home office (UK Border Agency).Which completely takes the p155 as I could walk into any gift shop in any seaside resort in the UK and find cabinets of display knives, swords, daggers, crossbows etc which I can buy with absolutely no problem at all

I forget what movie it is but there is a film where someone mentions that they could kill another person with a credit card by breaking the card in half and using it to slice the jugular. I am sure it has been done before at some point which was probably the inspiration for the dialogue. The point is, just like anything else we have access to, its never the weapon and always the person whenever malicious intent is involved. This is something people seem to neglect intentionally. Lets ban the guns, knives, or any other weapon, and people will still kill each other with their bare hands. If you look up weapons used for bizarre murders, I am sure the Freddy glove is at the very bottom of the list. It is simply that it is attached to a film and shows everyone how easy it is to warp our fragile little minds with film, video games or music. Any chance media can get to demonize our generations entertainment as something that is negative to our character will be capitalized on in spades and made an example of.
