I always thought this would be one movie that would make a sweet remake.

It's bad enough they're making a Nightmare movie without Robert Englund, the last thing we need is a ED movie without Bruce Campbell. And from what I've read Part 2 was meant as a psuedo-remake so it's already been done.

Dracula's been remade, Wolfman's been remade, King Kong's been remade, Batman's been remade, blah blah blah. Remakes are a part of film-making... many times over. In 50 years if another Nightmare film is made do you think people will be looking for Robert Englund to play the role? C'mon people... people age and remakes will always be done regardless of previous versions.
