Hey guys... I started making my backplates out of a thinner brass and am very happy with the overall feel of the glove. I always felt that the glove was too heavy when using BOTH 16 gauge steel blades and thicker brass for the backplate. This is sort of a hybrid between the Standard and Deluxe Hero gloves. Just thought I'd share these photos:

Beautiful as always! I like the thinner backplate quite a bit.
