H1 Lamson Knife Dimensions?

Anyone know the actual size of the knife MM uses in H1 in 1978? I have good pictures, I want to scale them properly to make a good template to make my own. I have heard as small as 15" and as large as 19". I am looking for the generally accepted length of the hero prop and the width of the blade by the handle. And just to clarify, not the thickness since I know it is 1/8 inch, I am talking when viewing the blade from the side, the width of the blade at it\'s widest part before the handle. Thanks!!

I have an original real Lamson at 18 or 18 1/2 that was told is the exact same style used . I\'m sure with some deeper looking into and maybe asking certain people who had a hand at making the movie may be able to fill you in .

I think the one I am going to make with the template I am working on from a photo will be around 17, so that\'s good!
