Well, being broke is sometimes the best way to spend a holiday Smile
My wife had to work today Sad
Our daughter made her a, um, one of those things we all made with clay and then baked out in kindergarten. Remember those? A hand made 7 page mothers day card and a couple of really cute drawings (shes such a great artist).
I sketched a \'copy\' of a film cell from Peter Pan (Tinkerbell, 1953) grabbed a frame from Michaels for 3 bucks on sale Smile and it looks SWEET. She likes Tinkerbell and Disney stuff. Tossed her a little cash to do a little clothes shopping as well.
We saw a HUGE print at Disney a while back that she really liked. It was like $1500..... I took some pics of it for her. They came in handy. I havent painted like this in a long time so it felt pretty good to get back at it!

After a grilled steak dinner, she was out like a light Smile

So what did you guys do?

You are one talented artist Mark I must say & maybe your daughter will take after you. It is to bad your wife had to work sort of shitty Sad but at least she received some real nice gifts. Much respect.

That Winnie the Pooh thing is cool as hell. It must be nice to not have to buy expensive art, when you can simply re-create it... I still watch that white guy with the afro in sheer fascination. Very talented. Good times!
