Well I know everyone loves horror movies, but anyone care to read any horror books?
Stephen King has had his share of great horror books as well as movies. Usually whenever Horror Movies in general start to take a dive, I try to crack open a horror book. Ha Hah Any one remember Goosebumps? Seems so long ago that I\'ve read one of those or seen an episode! Good Times.

Picked up an excellent Zombie book quite awhile ago and it\'s defanatly one of the best depictions of world zombification. George A. Romero is practically the best when it comes to Zombie Movies but J.L. Bourne book Day by Day Armageddon is top notch and a great read. Matter fact I think it qualifies to be made into a zombie movie.

Here a description of the book:

An ongoing journal depicting one man\'s personal struggle for survival, dealing with the trials of an undead world unfolding around him. An unknown plague sweeps the planet. The dead rise to claim the Earth as the new dominant species. Trapped in the midst of a global tragedy, he must make decisions...choices that ultimately mean life, or the eternal curse to walk as one of them.

A great book and for anyone that reads horror books or is just a fan of zombies should pick this up. If the description didn\'t help you here\'s a lengthy preview of the book which amounts to about 77 pages out of 260. That\'s what got me hooked.

I\'ve read a few of the King books with \'Salem\'s Lot and The Shining being my fave. The Running Man was decent too. But my favorite horror book of all time is Richard Matheson\'s I AM LEGEND. Excellent book. I\'ve read it many times over.

    "Horror" books I suggest:

    Savage Membrane by Steve Niles
Guns, Drugs and Monsters by Steve Niles
Dial M for Monster by Steve Niles
    The Rising by Brian Keene
    American Gods by Neil Gaiman
    Cabal by Clive Barker

There is also a graphic novel of I AM LEGEND and guess who wrote that version of it?? Steve Niles! Check him out. He also did some comics with Rob Zombie and tons of others...
