Lol.. well Conor said they did use it for the basic BASIC shape..lol.. he said it was so F\'d up.. they just maid a clay pour and retooled the whole thing..straightened it up and the holes were realigned.. so thats that... and the vs mask had a few resin ones.. the battle damage was resin... i like FG hockey masks.. but i think it does suit the vs better.. all others should be abs IMO.

I agree fiberglass should be used only for the VS hockey masks other than that iT should be ABS.

It\'s got to be ABS, F/B feels great to hold as its heavy but abs is just better looking and more accurate, personaly mike i like .125 as you know! i know you may lose a bit of the mold shape but i just love that thickness, if you get the shape of the Hockey Mask just right then it looks great but as most people know the p3 was so thin it bent/wrapped around the undermask so it\'s a tough call! personaly i think your .090 is spot on for realisticness(if there is such a word!)

Fiberglass will not break or crack if made correctly. I have an old Decay NYFX Hockey Mask and dropped it numerous times as well as tested it\'s strength and durability, didn\'t break or crack at all. All the ABS hockey masks I own were made of .125 ABS which in my opinion is just a great thickness overall. If your going back to using Fiberglass I\'d suggest to just use it for the VS like others have said.

well chris im glad ur FB mask has held up it must be thick and have a few layers or matte most people( and i have repainted them so i can see what was used) use tons of the polyester resin and only one layer of matte which isnt a good idea never seen a decay nyfx mask in person so i dunno what he uses.. but most dont do it right do to time and cost and alot of peopel use that bondo brand which isnt as strong but yes you are right they can be sturdy and even slammed on the ground if down right..

i might be doing the vs\'s in resin from now on to give a heavier feel as well as perfect scratches and cracks and chips all in it..

i was asking becasue alot of people email me and ask if i make one in fiberglass for like 200-250 at times but i wont do it cause i dont like it. So i wondered since people are offereing those prices would everyone prefer those.

well as i have one of your Vs. hockey masks , i think it\'s perfect just the way they are and wouldn\'t perfer a FG one as it will be too heavy and weigh down a dispaly piece as i\'ve had that problem before . the only thing i found that i wasn\'t too crazy about the Hockey Mask was that you could see areas of magic marker for where the scratches would be . but you\'d have to look close to see them . i\'m still trying to track down a FB from you if you have sold any lol but if i can\'t find one and have to end up buying a resin one from you then that\'ll do also . but i just perfer the ABS . would it be better to ask the customer which they would like the Hockey Mask to be in or would that make it too difficult ?
