<span style=\'font-size:14pt;line-height:100%\'>I have a H8 Limited Edition Myers mask from cinema secrets. Its a cool mask cause its made from the same as the screen used one. Plus its nice and thick
The only downfall on this mask is the colouring and shading.
The one used on the film was pretty white but this is a good bit darker.
I haven\'t worked on masks before but i would love to start getting into it.
What i\'d like to do is repaint the mask and redo the shading, so if anyone has any ideas or can give some advice that would be great!!!
Thanks </span>

well, i wouldnt mess with the mask because u would have to take off the hair unless u oput tape on the hairline, but i wouldnt mess with it. i would hire someone to do it.

I repainted my H8 mask and trimmed up the neckline to make it closer to a Pt. 1. I didn\'t have to tape the hair, and I didn\'t get any white in the hair, I just took one of those "sponge" brushes and carefully went all the way around the hairline. Then I took a regular pencil and did the shading, maybe a wet cloth to sort of make it fade. I was very happy with the way it turned out.... Then again, I had a regular H8.... Not a limited edition... My advice, leave it alone and buy a regular H8 and paint it.... But hey, you didn\'t ask for all of that. LATER!!!!

If i were in your shoes id just leave it as is, and buy one of those blanks that are on ebay. not only is the hair something to contend with but alot of times factory paintjobs are harder to remove/paint over then normal, so you may find that after you paint it the paint peels right off, so if your starting with raw latex it tends to work much better.
