Actor Daryl Karolat aka Tyler Mane is 6\'10 Wow that is huge.
Think in terms of Mr. Voorhees size. The larger Jman actors from the Friday films series stood:
    Richard Brooker Part 3------6\'3
    Ted White Jman Part 4------6\'4
    CJ Graham Part 6------6\'3
Kane Hodder Part 7-10--6\'3 and a half
Ken Kirzinger Part VS----6\'5 and a half

Now Myers will stand 6\'10 that is an interesting choice to say the least. I will not say it is a bad thing. Good luck getting him and the victim in the same frame together. I can live with the size thing, but I hear they may do away with the jumpsuit. That one worries me a bit more. We have not even seen the mask yet either. That can make or break the film also. There is no question Malcolm McDowell can pull of Doctor Loomis. Then again I am a huge Clockwork Orange fan and a little biased. The more I hear, the less the film sounds like it will be able to capture that original classic creepy Halloween vibe. I still have faith in Rob. Let us not forget the most integral part of the film the score. If Zombie gets that right then he may just pull this off.

I would much prefer a remake then another cheesy looped through plot of how Michael has to kill off some long distant second cousins relative due to the curse of thorn. I don\'t see why people say "things shouldn\'t be remade". I for one love seeing a modern day adaptation of a classic. At the end of the day, the original film you loved will still be on the shelf untampered.

id rather see a remake too than another sequel with a new DUMB LAME WASHED UP idea....at least with remakes the oirginal idea of say hack and slash or stalk and slash cant be slammed for being unoriginal, cuz they are retelling the movie when at the time was original...so yea confusing to say, but u know what i mean..lol

this guy as myers? sure, i dont care..lol....

one of the reasons i\'ve always liked myers is becasue he is a smaller dude compared to say Jman, but yet sill packs around alot of power. now we\'re gonna have a bigger guy lumbering around with alot of strength already to be expected, not like the original myers who moved light, was compact, but had surprising explosive strength. but thats just me. ive always liked picking up on the smaller details of movies, unlike most of the kids who go out to the theaters today just for the blood and guts, not saying that im not. i love the blood and the guts. i just hope that rob, even though having his own story wont disharmonize the character too much

I\'ll still watch it too, but I don\'t think Michael should be played by a gargantuan, balding, Triple H looking fellow.
Your normal everyday person is whats scary.. the person you never expect. The \'average\' size. Norman Bates in Psycho was scary because he appeared to be your normal type guy.. not a muscled-up basketball player as a killer.. Not in this film at least.
I hope this film turns out well... This movie doesn\'t need to rely on gore and in your face torture-type violence like his previous films.. It needs style. And thats something he\'s really lacked in his past two films that the original Halloween capitalized on.
