Thanks everyone for the great comments. It's come a long ways from last year. My first ever Jason costume, Hockey Mask and undermask. LOL

Hey man, great costume!I am about the same size as you, I am 5'10" 170. How did you go about making the lifts? I have been trying to find a good easy way, and still have not come up with anything...if you can help I would really appreciate it.

I wear a size 10 and the boots are 11 with a size 11 flip flop inside.Definitely check out Goodwill for boots. The boots in the background were my first failed attempts at weathering. Plus, they weren't the right style.

Thanks man, I will definatly try that out, thats a good idea. I tried one time using a 2 x 4 screwed into the sole of the boot, shaped and painted...needless to say it was way to heavy and didnt work lol, I couldnt pick my feet up without stepping like I was on a stair stepper. That was pitiful thinking on my part. Thanks a lot!

That's what I did at first. I wrapped the wood in black felt . Holy cow! I really felt like Frankenstein. Gained 6 inches though. Great costume and ideas for the boots. When I first saw the pics I kept thinking how much your Hockey Mask looks like mine. lol Darren does an awesome job on those final battles but they're soo hard to photograph! I'd love to see pictures of yours. it looks more warped [in a good way]. Here's mine [the catalog copy]Again awesome costume. I'm jealous.
