Jason Part 8 Hockey Mask Frenzy!

I personally like the shape of the Frightstuff and Fiberglass Masks better. The FS mask comes directly from the movie mold so it seems to me it would be the most accurate. Still the GOHS is a sweet mask. I just wish I would have gotten mine.

It's not 100% clear what mold they used for part 8 though right?? I always thought that info was fuzzy and that the shape wasn't quite the same as straight from a part 3 mold.Either way they all look pretty sweet.

I thought it could possibly be due to re-creating the mold several times and each time making it larger but I also could be talking out my you know what. But, it makes sense to me anyway.

The part 8 mask hero was made from a blank that was pulled from Ken Tarallo's part 3 mold. So since it's a copy of a blank mask, we can safely assume that it is slightly larger than the normal masks pulled from said mold. Also this mask was trimmed wider around the mouth area. This gives the mask a more "round" look and less oval. The other big difference (other than the triangles) is the vent hols are drilled much smaller than the normal original part 3/4 masksAll this information came from Ken himself over at <a href=\"http://www.frightstuff.com/frightforum/viewtopic.php?t=290&highlight=part\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.frightstuff.com/frightforum/vie...;highlight=part</a>Crash even has a great picture of the hero mask in that thread.
