Yes, I noticed that myself, I am not sure who did that, I got it from a trade and the guy I got it from, got it from someone else, I said to him that it kinda looks like someone anded some black to the mask and he told me nope! Thats the way it came, so I am not sure about that, It looks to me like someone added a little weathering with some black pray paint, I hope this helps,
actually it also looks as though paint was taken from just outside the eyes!!!does it have anything on the inside???the reason i ask is because i was offered a mask just like this one from adam sum and he told me that the reason for the missing paint is because his friend used it for recasting!!!!and it had those same lightish circles just around the eyes....but if this is that mask it should hade whitish gunk on the inside from the recasting material as well. <_<
