My Anders VS is quite sharp, even the tops of the blades would do some damage.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndAre you saying that the blades from Anders have a sharp edge? I think that would be kinda pointless and unsafe. Can you request they not be sharpened?

Unless you're really trying to swipe at someone, the blades won't hurt. The ends are pointed and the bottoms of them are slightly sharp, but they aren't kitchen knives. You'd have to really try to cut yourself or someone else with them to do damage. But yeah, he can make it custom to your specs if you want to make sure they're nice and dull. I can also recommend Mark at Nightmares Unlimited. I don't have his VS glove but I've seen them up close and they're great.

I don't mind natural sharpness of the steel, but I do not want them sharpened liek a razor steak knife if you know what I mean.

The VS Hero I have basically has kitchen knives on it... if not sharper. While holding the glove I about slit open my thumb. The slightest force would puncture skin w/ ease. I'm not just talking out of my ass... lol. I will take pics for you guys.

    Here ya go. I put a couple comparisons next to a Hampton Forge Steak knife. The blades are about 2 1/2 x as thick as the knife and actually just as sharp.<img src=\"http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii123/mask-warlock/Anders%20VS%20Hero/IMGP5599.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii123/mask-warlock/Anders%20VS%20Hero/IMGP5600.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii123/mask-warlock/Anders%20VS%20Hero/IMGP5606.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii123/mask-warlock/Anders%20VS%20Hero/IMGP5603.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii123/mask-warlock/Anders%20VS%20Hero/IMGP5631.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii123/mask-warlock/Anders%20VS%20Hero/IMGP5634.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

Nice pics Chad! Yeah, I'd say mine looks pretty much the same. I just picked it up and I suppose it could do some damage if you're weren't careful...they are pretty sharp. But still, unless you're running around all willy-nilly and acting crazy, it can still be used as a prop for a costume I think.

I opened the box in my truck, took the glove out, put it on, and started driving home from work. Dumb. I didn't even think about getting the glove off. So here I am going about 80mph in Atlanta w/ a freakin sharp ass glove on my right hand, steering w/ the left. I couldn't shake it off. Some guy about runs me off the road b/c he pulls over w/out using his ticker. Since I'm holding the wheel w/ my left hand I had to flip him off w/ my right hand - Freds Middle finger. Awesome! The dude took off so fast! He was in a little Civic ricer. I laughed all the way home.
