Just a question.Did anyone ever noticed this detail on the glove in the first A Nightmare On Elm Street movie:Look at this scene 0:00 -0:05 (and 1:34 – 1:38 when Freddy moves his glove/fingers next to his face where he says: This is god!)http://youtube.com/watch?v=MqPwxOZu5uAlook at the “Middle Finger Tip” look at how that knife is attached to the copper finger tip compared to the way how the knives are attached to the other finger tips on the glove. In this movie scene the middle finger has the blade attached more to the Top of the middle fingertip.While............. in this beginning scene picture (from member Martoch’s screencap gallery, thanks Martoch <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> ) you can see that all the fingertips have attachted the knifes the same way.screencap:

Looks like the blade probably fell off and the crew did a quick repair for the scene. They just didn't get it slid all the way back into the finger armature.

Actually the glove in the "This is God" scene is nothing but a stunt glove. The glove had no rivets in the finger joints and the copper fingertips were just glued to the leather glove. They only made one complete glove for the film and the rest were stunt gloves.

I was actually just reading"the Nightmare never ends' book and it has a paragraph in there about this. It did indeed break and since the shooting schedule was so tight they had to do an emergency fix and they didn't do a very good job soddering the blade back into place. That was quoted from Jim Doyle himself. That book is such a great read. There lots of tidbits in the there that I had no idea about.
