Question About Sculpting And Casting

Hey guys, I am about to attempt my first sculpt, I need help with a few things. when sculpting and casting for mask making purposes how much bigger than an actual head do I need to make the sculpt so that it will be an ok size after the latex dries and shrinks ?? also I know that they have been done to death but I would like some opinions on which jason to sculpt, 3,4,6,7,or 8 ?? thanks

Depends on the armature, if you're using a monster makers sculpting armature, it's 23.5" around, and you'll want to build the clay up 1-2inches thick.
