i was told that it is due to either the people who " own Star Trek or Shatner himself want rolyalty from using the likeness of the capt. kirk mask for every myers mask they sell and DP just didn't want to do that so without getting into a huge lawsuit , they changed up the look completely so there's no resembance to william shatner for any myers mask . could just be talk but i know that's what i was told not that long ago . mike,
