I probably wouldnt be such a believer in ghost if I hadn't experienced so many ghost like happenings. The first one I remember was when I was 4 or 5 in my old house, I got up early in the morning to get some cereal and the kitchen was connected to the laundry room which was kind of big because it was also our pool house type deal and the only thing that seperated it from our kitchen was a screen door and some stairs that went down to it...well anyways I glanced over and saw someone in there and I thought it was my dad and I will always remember this, I said, "Dad?" and the person turned around looked at me and it wasn't my dad and he kind of just wasn't there anymore <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":blink:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"blink.gif\" /> Another time, same house I was getting in bed to go to sleep, I must have been in the first grade by then because we moved when I went to second grade and I saw the greyish head of someone walk underneath the window behind my bed, I told my mom and my brother and they went outside looking for who they thought might have been my brother that ran away but they didn't find anyone.So we finally moved in second grade and I am thinking all is well because it was a brand new 2 story house and one night I hear a loud noise in the corner of my room like if a bunch of boxes fell in the corner so I yelled for my mom and my brother came cuz he was in the next room but they couldnt find a reason for the noise since there was nothing in the corner of my room on the ground.These next two experiences happened around the same time that one of my grandfathers passed away,When I was in around 4th or 5th grade... after the funeral we went to my grandmothers house and me and my cousins were in the back and I was swinging on the swings while my cousins were just talking and i was about to jump off when i noticed the swing next to me was swinging at the exact same time and height as I was, I told my cousins and we thought maybe since the swing was old that it made the other swing move so i stopped the other swing from moving and i started swinging again but the other swing just stayed still...after that we went back inside the house.Maybe a week or two later my mom was having stomach problems and she felt this weight over her all the time but my dad is a sceptic and didn't think it was anything supernatural but my mom felt like she was about 100 pounds heavier and one night she woke up and a big greenish light was over her and she couldnt talk or anything so she kept hitting my dad and my dad finally woke up and he saw the light too and they said that the light looked like it was looking in her stomach and then it went out of the window...I probably wouldn't have believed that one if my dad wasn't so scared about it afterwards haha and he wanted to think of some reasonable explanation for it be he simply couldnt and they didn't tell me for like a week or more afterwards because they didn't want to scare me.still there? well here's some more.This one was in the 6th grade or something and I spent the night at my friends house and he warned me that his house was haunted but he lies a lot so i didn't really believe him until that night, we were watching a movie in the living room and he paused it cuz he had to go to the restroom, then all of a sudden I heard the pots and pans in the kitchen move and i looked over and there was no one there ( thats not the scary part though) The next morning we got up to eat breakfast in the kitchen with his family and all of a sudden I heard the front door slam shut and someone run upstairs, they all said "it was the ghost" like normal but i wanted to check it out and so i went upstairs and looked every everywhere but there was no one there.Around the same time, I went to visit my cousin in Watsonville California and besides and he lived out in the country and we were going to sleep the second night we were there and I slept on his top bunk while he was on the bottom and he didnt have blinds for his window, all he had was some sheets and i see the shadow of a hooded person or figure outside of his window, the crazy things is his window was really tall so the person would have be about 9 foot tall or more, so i jumped down and woke my cousin up to show him and we were so scared that we slept in the same bed that night, it was there the following night also so we thought maybe it was just a shadow from something normal outside and it was there the following night so we were getting use to it and we even looked outside around there during the day to see what it could be but found nothing and then the fourth or 5th night the shadow was not there and it wasn't there ever again, I don't know what it was but it was sure (Dern, I done gone and growed another head) creepy especially after it wasn't there anymore after we decided to accept it as nothing.At my parents house when I was in high school, I switched rooms to a bigger one when my brother moved out and it was kinda creepy because although I really didnt hear much in my new room, I would always hear noises comming from my old room even when everyone is downstairs except me.One time recently my dad was brushing his teeth while my mom was in the shower and he was about to spit and he got bumped and he thought it was my mom but she was still in the shower and I was asleep.Besides my parents and I frequently hearing someone call us from downstairs if we are upstairs and vice versa, one morning we were eating potatoes with eggs and bacon and then all of a sudden we started smelling syrup, the kind for pancakes and it was really strong but we couldnt find the source anywhere and we werent even having pancakes or anything.More recently in my college years I spent the night at my friends house with another friend after a night of drinking and stuff and the next morning we were watching a UFC fight when all of a sudden the fan that he had in the middle of the coffee table in front of use just flew to the ground like if someone pushed it off with force and peices of it went flying and we went to plug it back in to see if it worked still and it was still plugged in and the cord was moving in a pulsating way, then we heard something break in the kitchen and we see a glass cup just broken on the kitchen floor.Thats all I can remember for right now, I know there are more but those are the big ones that I can remember. I am sure that many people on here won't believe me because I admit some of these stories are pretty farfethced seeming but believe me they did happen to me and I did not want them to happen to me but they did and now I am less scared when ghostlike things happen around me, I am sure that these events will not be the last events to happen to me but if anything they have made my life more eventful exciting.

They moved out of that aparment after something happened that was borderline unbelievable. The reasons I believe it is because of that night I was there and also because they made one of their moms drive all the way from El Centro (about an hour and a half away) to San Diego to pick them up and bless the apartment with holy water and the bible...well what happend was, they were sleeping and my friend had a nightmare and woke up to see her roommates bed shaking and the covers being pulled off of the bed by some dark shadowy figure, she turned on the light and her roommate was shaking and screaming uncontrollably for about an hour she said but there was nothing there anymore and they hugged eachother until her mom came to pick them up. I am 23, this happened to my friends who are 23 themselves about a year or two ago and I promise this is true atleast from what she, her roommate and her mom told me and my mom and plus I experienced some events there myself.

I've had some ghostly encounters in my life, especially when I lived in a different house on my current street. I would wake up in the middle of the night freezing because my cover was tossed across the room in the corner. My brother shared the room with me and never remembered my getting up. I also heard noises and sometimes heard a voice call my name. I woke up one night with my cover at my ankles and it felt as though someone was holding me to the bed. All of it stopped, though, when I was home alone one night. I heard noises while in the kitchen coming from my room, which was on the other side of the wall. I stayed in the kitchen a good 30 minutes before I remembered my mom telling me that there is power in the name of Jesus. So, I said, "I command you to leave in the name of Jesus," and the noises ceased; I didn't have another encounter at that house since that night.I've had some experiences in the middle of the night at my current house with the bed shaking and such. They mainly occur when I'm going through rough times, but I always respond with prayer and speaking scriptures, even when I'm halfway asleep. And, it always ends after I'm done speaking or praying.
