Collectors will pay high prices-- if you are not a collector then maybe you should not? I mean, it's nit like the pieces are not worth it, because they are. It's like me and BMX bikes; I paid 450 bucks for a 1985 bike FRAME. Most people would have seen it and scrapped it. However, to me (and collectors) it's worth that (and about 1000 restored). So, yeah, paying 225 bucks for a nice hockey mask is worth it to the person buying it (obviously). However, it may not be worth 20 bucks to someone who has no care for it or masks in general. It's sort of silly to say it's not worth it at all, hell some people may see a Van Goh painting and think it's not worth 500 bucks, let alone 550 grand. Don't buy things that you can not afford and if you only want a mask to wear on Halloween then buy one of those masks on eBay for 90 bucks that have a very quick paint job.

Whats even funnier than the idiotic statement that started this thread is the fact that people feel the need to justify themselves to an obvious moron.........................Larry

The only thing more enjoyable than a "Goodbye" post on a messageboard are obvious troll jobs such as this one. I give it a 2/10 for effort.

It's more than justifying, it's more or less explaining the difference between a casual mask buyer and a collector.I was called gullible and insane by my wife for buying a rusty frame for 450. However, she was a but surprised when I had it powder coated and re-decaled and sold it for twice as much. I would not call my wife a moron for thinking I was wasting my money, she was ignorant to the situation-- same applies here.

His intention was to rile people up and it looks like he's succeeded. I called him a moron because his statement was moronic. I'm in no way insinuating anyones spouse is a moron.
