Quick costume shots video for fun, again only one take as it was 80 degrees out so I had to get this off before the sweat started lol. Not sure how to edit mid clip as I wanted to edit the zooms so that it looked liked it zoomed in 3 times as I have no camera person. Hood also popped out but did not have time to fix it. But you get the idea. I might be selling this costume as well, at least the hood and hockey mask, gloves, and another similar costume made from the beginning with more mud and weathering. Only selling to finance more cool projects. So watch for that.<a href=\"http://img682.imageshack.us/i/imag00059k.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/5956/imag00059k.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://img517.imageshack.us/i/imag00065.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/807/imag00065.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfEiSD5KEd8\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfEiSD5KEd8</a>

the cobwebs are a nice touch you don't see too often . as for the clothes , i prob. would've weathered them in a more natural way like rub them in the dirt a little and scuff them on some tree bark to get that rough look instead of i think you painted ? if i'm wrong then i'm sorry . pretty much everything looks great and sometime down the road , maybe look into more movement into the arms as that's the bigest problem with those things is that they always end up having Frankenstein syndrome lol

Thanks. Yeah it is about how you wear a costume that matters, and how well you are able to present all of the features and mannerisms. That is what brings the character to life. I also have about 30 years experience playing Jason, just never had this high level of costumes. But I made crap costumes come to life all those years lol. Now I got the best of both worlds. I never would have predicted I would making costume at this level. I think the mannequins looks better in person than in pics. But they are only so flexible. I am still looking for the perfect mannequin that has flexible arms and proper range of motion yet is not too skinny and badly posed. That has not happened yet. I hate having to buy clothes for myself that also need to fit the mannequin because that is hard being it is 6'5" and I am 5'9" (6'1" in height increasing boots) So usually they are big on me and slightly small for a bulked mannequin. But I wish I had two sets of clothes one for each. But you can't always find the proper shirt twice. But at least I get to have Jason in my house all year to look at until I can play him on Halloween, or Myers, Freddy, Madman etc. I used natural weathering the past but it does not look as good or as detailed, plus it can draw bugs, stinks, and can stain other stuff. Also the movies use special effects paints and make-ups as well, so natural weathering is kind of pointless and does not look as good. It sounds good in theory but the reality of it is not that good. This was my lightly weathered shirt for the paintball scene, but I also have a costume with heavy weathering for the mud/rain scene. But these colors here represent the look of the paintball scene, and I really nailed that yellowish brown look. Also the flash over embellishes and really brings out the gloss in the colors, you don't see that in regular lighting. But the camera won't pick up most of it, or the little zigzag cuts and frays in the seams. The cobwebs were a quick teaser of another suit I have coming with a lot more of them. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />

    Version 3 (Rise from the grave) almost done. Working on other parts now. Teaser pics. This is meant to be seen in low lighting but just used the flash to show details.<a href=\"http://img594.imageshack.us/i/imag00121.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/4797/imag00121.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://img682.imageshack.us/i/imag0017d.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/4914/imag0017d.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://img519.imageshack.us/i/imag0016ry.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/39/imag0016ry.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://img202.imageshack.us/i/imag0015l.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/954/imag0015l.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://img638.imageshack.us/i/imag0014f.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img638.imageshack.us/img638/7710/imag0014f.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://img444.imageshack.us/i/imag00133.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/7599/imag00133.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a>

Still need to dirty the webs up some later, just testing for now. But as I said this is meant for low lighting anyway. Hands are still drying and my latex hands don't fit into them because they shrunk, so I stuffed them as best as I could for now. I made custom hands from garden gloves to be accurate lol. The paint matches the maggot head from Bellamy. But yeah here is the night shots I wanted for this especially the no flash ones. Some with the yellow gloves. I did not stuff them but threw them on over my other latex hands.<a href=\"http://img707.imageshack.us/i/imag00081c.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/1701/imag00081c.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://img690.imageshack.us/i/imag00061.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/3245/imag00061.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://img145.imageshack.us/i/imag00051o.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/6861/imag00051o.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://img718.imageshack.us/i/imag00041.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/5518/imag00041.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://img517.imageshack.us/i/imag00036.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/9167/imag00036.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://img169.imageshack.us/i/imag00027.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/779/imag00027.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://img687.imageshack.us/i/imag00014.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/5871/imag00014.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a><a href=\"http://img534.imageshack.us/i/imag00091.jpg/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/2734/imag00091.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /></a>
