    I am going to try and start making masks myself but i dont want to purchase the kit from monster makers. Heres the site i plan on ordering from. www.artstuf.com Heres what i think i will need so far.

    An Armature
    20lbs Oil Clay or Water based?
    50lbs Ultra Cal Can anyone tell me what this is please.
    1 gal. of latex maybe 5 if i start making alot
    A compressor Best kind?
    An airbrush What kind?
    Paint
    Plaster Gauze i think?

    Sorry for all the newbie questions! I just dont know alot about mask making right now. Any help will be appreciated Thanks

    i would get.....
    50 lbs of ul30
    5 gallons on latex
    6-8 pounds of roma clay
    full head armature
    about 8 yards of burlap
    acrycilic paint
    sorry i don\'t no bout airbrush stuff though.

    ultra cal 30 is what you would make the mold out of
    but I would get everyting from MM

    Look in the phonebook for a local ceramic supply store. They will usually carry the Ultracal without charging you the shipping. It\'s about $19.00 for a 50lb sack around here. For an airbrush, shop around but it\'s usually cheaper to order the sprayer and the compressor in a "kit".

    Thanks to everyone who helped out. Im gonna order that compressor airbrush kit. When i look under the phonebook for ceramic shop what will it be under?
