I like the idea, but I think the dirt around the eyes interferes with the cheek chevrons.

Oooo this came out nice . Yeah the dirt around the eyes is a bit too much but other than that , :thumbsup:

great looking hok man. nice work once again. if i have a criticism, it would be the chevron"s are a little wide. everyone has an opinion, but i think all in all you did an excellent job brother. sweet hybrid.

We put these up fot others to look at and post opinions.........so all opinions are welcome.

I did the chevrons this way to make them similar to the original Roy mask.......but I wanted them to be different also. I don't think any set of chevrons have been the same from movie to movie. Each film has had its own take on how they look and where they go.

I darkened the eyes and around the ventholes near the mouth more because in my mind its more than just dirt buildup. By the time FVJ takes place, Jason had been in the ground a good bit and mud and grime (black mold and such) have seriously stained the Hockey Mask........Plus years of breath escaping from the mask primarily in those 2 areas would only help to maintain a wonderful habitat for mold and other stuff to grow.

Love sweet customs like this, I think it looks good and your words make it look better and understandable. I also dig the chevrons being a tad larger as well.
Just a thought, I think it would be a cool touch to add some decade old dried blood spatter somewhere offsetting it a little too, but not too much.
