In an old thread asking about mask making materials and such, someone here posted a link to their site with a great section on mask making (I vaguely remember seeing pics of him using playing cards at the dividing wall). I recommend these guys they are my favorite people to deal with .
I would get suplies locally before buying anything from MM
A pipe for an armature and water clay for sculpting and your local pottery shop should have tools clay and plaster. I do recommend The armature from Smithsgrove if he still sells them.
