    Christmas time is all about giving...It\'s about love for one another and it\'s a time to be with your family and celebrate, no matter what it is that you celebrate.

    Sure, yeah, okay. We all know that crap by now. BOOOOOOORING.

    So instead, what I propose is, we start honoring a DIFFERENT aspect of the season..

    It\'s just as dear to us in our hearts as Christmas is to some, and it only brings joy where ever it goes.

    Everyone can agree with it - unlike Christmas. It can be celebrated by everyone equally. It doesn\'t matter what religion you are!

    In fact, I think we should devote an entirely seperate holiday to it...

    I would dub this new holiday "Tree Cake Day". The celebration would kick off some time in the week before December 25th, because after Christmas ends, they tend to disappear quickly. They\'re like the McGriddle of the snack world.

    In fact, maybe we should just do away with X-mas all together and replace it with Tree Cake Day. Who\'s with me?! Big Grin

    hmmm....does that mean we have to give tree cakes as presents? i dont like cake much. What about people with cake allergies? they will suffer even worse this time of year than the poor.

    Well, Ruste, to answer your question,

    For the poor people across the world, we would fashion a few 747s filled with as many boxes of Tree Cakes as possible, and drop them by air to all of the needy, poor people across the world.

    ...Sorta like a "Tree Cake Santa."

    Awww. =(

    Trav, you should look for them. They\'re like the strongest memory of Christmas that I have. That, and if I was told to describe what Christmas would taste like, I would say Tree Cakes! They\'re just so awesome.

    Almost as awesome as Voortman\'s cookies, but not quite. (I figure you\'ll know what Voortman\'s is because it IS Canadian. hehe.)

    Voortmans are okay, they have some nice soft cookies. I\'m gonna dig around for those at a few places that might have em, but in all the years I\'ve done Christmas in Canada, never seen em. We get the rest of the snack cakes here, just not sure about the Trees.

    Seriously...I could start a friggin religion praising these things. They rock.
