Hey chris, try out this pic, shows the bits i would change to suit.

what i can mostly tell is the brows, they look like they flare too long and too far up.
try the jaw line, on part 1 he had an old man type jaw line that sets in, and his laugh cheeck lines kinda followed this shape too.
also, the ears are a little too far up. 1 thing i learned in portrait painting is that when looking face on at a person, on average the top of the ears nearly are always in line with the top line of the eyes, compare with the real fred pic.
