I thought we should have dropped a H bomb on Iraq a long time ago.  Any country  that had a problem with us would poop their pants and never so much as look at us the wrong way again.  Just my morbid opinion

I think it would turn Nato against the us entirely, turning ourselves into what we\'re fighting really. When people seriously say that they should kill an entire country filled with women and children they are no better than the iraqis.

It is crude oil production in Islamic countries (which account for most of our oil.) I think the people responsible for the decapitation should be tortured and killed 10x as worse as the victim, but we can\'t do that do to it being cruel and unusual punishment.
The worst thing about it was that he was a civilian trying to help communication grow in Iraq and he suffered for the foolish acts of Army personnel. I hope the people that gave orders for those stupid and degrading acts feel "good" for themeselves.

I saw the video myself and............ that is totally uncalled for . It would be nice if the bubba family was real so we could send them over there . and no i\'m not making light of this . I don\'t see how anyone could , i mean he was one of us , The AMERICANS !!! someone really needs to put a stop to this .

My friend emailed it to me... I didnt know what it was until they said his name... and then I thought it was something from the news and that it wouldnt show the actual killing... boy was I wrong... that was the sickest thing Ive ever seen... I saw it two days ago and I still cant get the image of him out of my head... and his screaming is horrible as well... I would love to find that nikcuf a$$holes that did that and do that to them... I hope he is at peace....

is it just me or is this thread spinning in circles with the same 3 things being said over again. Ok, we have pointed out the fact that these nutless bastards have no soul. Two, we have pointed out that for the majority this war had no foundation. And three, we have made stupid comments like "send over all the murderers". Though political discussion and pro american dissucusion are livley you also have to rember people die every day on both sides of this war, the good or the bad, the civilian or the soilder weather it be on video tape or not. So how say you this, morn for the loss of this tragic death, keep the family members of his and the troops in your hearts and not hold a bais against an intire country over the acts of some. I mean, its topics like these that generaly start all the racial conflicts in the world. The thread started with good intentions but slowly turned to "screw them Iraq sons of a bitches" and a "USA, USA, USA!". Please keep in mind I hold nothing but hate and disbelief towards the events in the video, I just don\'t like rambling.

I have yet to see the video, but I do know what it is. As far as my opinion of Iraq, I would not have had any problem seeing a smoking crater in the Earth where it used to be, but I know that\'s not the answer. War is hell, but it is a necessary evil, it keeps those who would do wrong in line, and it does actually progress our technology and society, I am with Bush in his his decisions, I don\'t give a rats ass about the weapons, Sadam was a much nicer target than them anyways. I am a big supporter of this war, and any other that are against the terrorist chicken shit bastards who threaten our right to freedom. I am also of course behind the troops 110% and if I was an American citizen good chance I would have enlisted shortly after 9/11.
As far as the beheading goes, well, it\'s not all that unexpected, think of the mind set of the enemy, they still ahere to old ways of thinking in many aspects, including torture and execution. As far as the prisoner torture on the US side, IMO their only mistake was letting that infomation leak, I would have no qualms what so ever to hear the prisoners of war recieving the same treatment they bestowed upon their own country men for countless years. I do hope for a free Iraq and soon, but I REALLY hope the marines and rangers go and rip some shit up first, tear out the last factions with extream force.

Well, I have been following the news to date, the atrocities of war are unfortunately excused by the relevant sides in the name of "the cause"
I myself grew up in Belfast , N Ireland, and while we are by no means a war torn country, certainly not since the 1970\'s....I do have some experience with two sides of a war...and I can explain it no better than saddening....really.
We are an incredible species capale of incredible feats....and on the other hand, shaved, mildly accelerated apes...and therefore subceptable to primal action...
Ironically I think it is this primal instinct and drive which enables us to achieve the former!
