Paypal only please. Best offer takes it or it\'s off to the \'Bay.

First one made in my new studio. Multi layered and weathered paintjob to look like 4 different \'types or races\' of skin has been sewn together.

Debating whether or not to put some dried blood around the edges, I think a skin mask this rotted probably wouldn\'t have but maybe a blackish substance around the edges. But if someones wants this mask with something extra done to the edges that\'s no prob.

PM me for questions or offers.

    Thanks.

I absolutely love this sculpture, very original take on the character.

I aquired a Leatherhead recently,I got it from a nice chap, Tom Vlasveld from the Netherlands, I think it started life at Dreamland productions.Anyway it,s going to Mr Lubatti, for a new paintjob, some real stitching, and a scalp. This is a great mask, and I,d really like to know everything about it,who sculpted it and soforth.Great to see it in production.Tell us about your studio then.

It was sculpted by Mark DeBau *not sure I spelled that correctly* He used to do work on the Dinosaurs for the Discovery Channel I believe, before starting his own CGI company. He sculpted the mask as a project for Dreamland.

Dreamland kind of went to the land of wind and socks.

I always loved the leatherhead along with the manhatten muppet and the dock demon that dreamland made. So when the molds went into storage I knew it was only a matter of time before I talked him into letting me dig em out and try and bring em back.

I hate to see a great mask disappear from the community, and I didn\'t think that those 3 masks had \'lived out thier life\' yet, so to speak.

Good luck with the stitching btw. The way it\'s sculpted doesn\'t really leave room for real stitches. He sculpted it more the way people are actually stitched, with a very tight pattern.

I\'m curious which leatherhead you\'ve gotten. I only know of 3 of them out there. Just curious but it\'s probably one of the ones I painted because I think Dreamland only released 1 mask and Travis got that one.

When Tom sold me the mask he said he aquired it from someone called Bill in a private deal. However he said it was definitely moulded by Aaron. He did mention in a post on a different forum that only five were made, but who knows? The mask is dark tan in colour with a crappy wig attached to it,Erich will deal with that. The stitching,I,ll be suggesting something subtle ,1mm wax cord, something like that.As for adding a haired scalp to the mask, there,ll be stitching involved, but that,s Erich,s baby. When it,s sorted out I,ll be posting pics for all to see.
