Kruegear Update

Well, the unthinkable happened today. I actually received my part 1 fedora from Travis that I ordered over a year ago! It showed up today...woohoo!!
I was wondering if anyone else who had/has outstanding orders have received their Kruegear stuff yet.

anything that takes over a year , you should stay away from . it shouldn\'t take that long to make a Hockey Mask or ship out a freakin hat . i just hope you don\'t find out that he was sitting around watching movies that whole time . and i\'m also guessing that he lost contact with you as well ?

thanks brunnen, it\'s hard to believe I actually have it. I almost stopped wanting it at a point lol.

Yeah, he did lose contact with me for awhile...but then again he lost contact with everybody. I often found myself playing his advocate, as hard as that became. He lost his uncle down in new orleans after katrina hit, then a few months later his dad died. so it HAS been rough on him as i\'m sure most of us can understand. it\'s not an excuse to shirk your responsibilties as I reminded him not just once over emails. i got pretty nasty with him a few times and I think that\'s what finally prompted him to send the damn thing over to me lol. (btw, he\'s been living no more than 15 miles from me since November!)
The one thing i didn\'t have it in me to say to him was the fact that his uncle passed away in Aug/Sept and i was promised the hat originally the May before. So he had 4 months before katrina even hit to get the hat to me. I was tempted to tell him that but said fuck it. He\'s been through too much. Whatever, I have it and the pain is finally over. :biggrin:

Yeah, it would be pointless to stir up more trouble than necessary, and you always have to be careful with people. If you had said the wrong thing, it could have pissed him off and you\'d have never recieved that hat. So, post some pictures of your hat.

I just took some pics of my part 1 freddy (only thing left to get is a standing manequin) I\'ll post them up asap.

Just as a sidenote, i think the main reason my hat was sent was because i was a major pain in the arse to Trav...kinda relentless actually lol
so it might be a good idea to exert a little pressure if you wanna get your stuff in the next millennium. just don\'t be too much of a dick about it, cuz of what brunnen advised.

yeah it\'s weathered and pretty accurate to the film. Just that i thought the hat in the original was more of a sharkfin grey, even bluish in certain lighting. the hat i got from Travis is dark brown.
