THought this was interesting. Someone completed HHMs entire collection. Not the most spectacular jason masks but a few in there are pretty nice. Anyone wanna predict how much this would sell for?

It will probably go for alot. But that 4 and 9 are just awful. I mean, the 9 looks nothing like any part 9 I\'ve ever seen.

    Spotted that.

Quite a nice collection but I can see it going for a good price in the end. $400+?

Some keepers in ther and some for re-sale.

apparently nothing as strong as you\'re smoking because that 4 and 9 are crap the 9 looks like a weathered 7 (a bad one at that) and the 4 is a 6 with the tri\'s lets not be weird about this Joe\'s work was never that great to begin with and the fact that he ripped a bunch of people off well that just speaks for it self i will agree with you that he was over priced though

He\'s not overpriced. It\'s just that the market for hockey masks has dropped off the planet except for high end pieces...this is simply because of jerks going vacuforming about 300 copies and selling them on ebay cheap. Only masks that have held their value are NIGHTOWL and gates of hell (and other exceptions)

Well I have a G3 from HHM that I converted into a VS. and I can honestly say it\'s a nice mask but there are definantly better makers out there. For the quality of Joe\'s masks, I think the price is fair. But as I said there are better makers out there, so I think I\'m gonna stick with vaccuformed masks from now on.

[scottishaccent] I could crap better masks then those! [/scottishaccent] Big Grin I\'ve never been a fan of Joes work, but A couple are fairly decent, but some like the 4 and 9 are just dog balls. I\'d say the seller shit his pants though, he\'s not gonna get ANYWHERE near what he paid for em now, it\'s a complete buyers market out there, if he waited till the second week of October and put them all up seperatly he would have just raked in the dough BIG time. As it is, I can\'t see him getting much more then $400.

Hate to tell ya, but durability isn\'t real big on the \'what makes a great hockey mask\' scale, sure it is important if you\'re planning on wearing it, but any abs, or resin mask will stand up easily to that. And actually, a .060 ABS mask would be more durable then the thickest of any other mask material, it gets it\'s strength through it\'s flex.

As the proud owner of a Goalie 3 I must say that I think Joe is a good mask maker, however he does need to straighten out his priorities on the way he does business. Some of the masks shown in that auction are pretty decent-looking to me, but I\'m not sure about the 9. Looks way too grey.
