Warm Thoughts/prayers/etc Needed

Hey guys...got some pretty depressing news this morning. My Mom is being taken to detox today because she\'s severely depressed and an alcoholic (the two normally go hand-in-hand). For the longest time, she denied having a problem and would never talk about either one, always saying that everything was fine. My sister just told me that my Mom hasn\'t been to work in two weeks and finally admitted that she\'s been drinking so much for so long (years) that she gets physically sick from the withdrawal if she doesn\'t drink every few hours. As some of you know, I lost my Dad last year (he was only 59)...so hearing this news about my Mom is pretty frightening for me. Not that I think she\'s going to pass away, but my sister says she\'s pretty bad and it really scares me to hear what she\'s going through. My sister tried to take her to detox yesterday, but the hospital didn\'t have any beds available...which only depressed my Mom even further, so she hit the bottle again. She also has to be alcohol free for 24 hours before entering detox, which she is having a hard time accomplishing. Please let there be a bed available today.

So please...pray if you believe in God...if not, send positive vibes/warm wishes her way. Please keep my sister in mind as well because she\'s pretty taking care of this alone because I\'m in FL and they\'re in PA.

I\'m really sorry to hear that news man. I will definately pray for her and wish you all the best. It\'s good to hear that she finally admitted to having a problem and checked in... it can only get better for her now.
