Displaying Gloves

I just got a new Vs. glove from freddygloves.com. (won it a drawing. how lucky am I?) Anyway, I was wondering, whats the best way to display it? Where can I get cheap, like mannequin hands, or something? Any help would be appreciated.

Good question!

I\'ve been looking for something myself. Done the usual eBay search ( display hand, jewellery hand, plastic hand, acrylic hand etc) and while it brings up a few things there nearly always the left hand so pretty useless. I\'ve even asked at a couple of jewellery shops incase they had some old display hands but got nothing but a weird look :blink:

How do you guys display yours?

I figured out a GREAT way to display mine, looks great and supporst the glove well. All I used was one of those cheap severed hands you find around halloween, (they come in a plastic bag and have a goofy looking bone sticking out of the wrist) I cut the bottom off of it and pulled out the stuffing, when it\'s empty it\'s pretty easy to get the glove on, full not so much, so I don\'t think a manniquin hand would work well. After the glove was on the hand I stuffed a couple plastic shopping bags inside to keep it\'s shape. For the base I used a piece of finished hardwood and attached a small length of abs plumbers pipe, works like a charm!

UGH ok lets try this again i didnt know there was a block on freddys last name ...and i had the wrong link anyway [url=\"http://www.geocities.com/capedcrusader07/DudeAndDudettes.html\"]Pix[/url] just look at the bottom it has blood around the wrist and a cut in the top of the hand but that its...the cut is just very little un noticeable but its a good display hand if u need it

If there is enough interest. I would start designing and making display stands for freddy gloves. Give me some feedback and I\'ll look into making some.

Does anybody still have that link to the $30 mannequin? That had a great way to make glove displays. That\'s what I\'ve used and it worked quite well and is poseable too.
