hey guys, could one of ya show me how to foam fill a mask. I really want to foam fill my NFX drowned ghoul so I can sell it but I dont know how!!! i would like to learn for myself rather than having someone else charge me for them doing it.

    thanks

I\'ve only filled them when they\'re still in the 2 piece mold. Sorry

Yeah I tried filling one of mine once without a mold and it isn\'t pretty. It\'s next to impossible to maintain the shape without a mold.

It is a pain in the arse!, i have only done it a couple of times, i used small amounts and filled it in sections, it was for a zombie head i needed to make out of an existing mask i had, it worked but it was a bit out of shape, i would not recomend doing it if you\'ve not done it before.

Its a little known fact that Chunk is indestructible, especially while doing the dreaded "truffle shuffle".

    I second that.

If your mask is thick enough, you may eliminate distortion all together. Just make sure you don\'t use that expanding foam from Home Depot! I like Smooth-On\'s products personally.
    Dare I say........good luck?

someone told me that there\'s a product called \'Great Foam\' at home depot or sears, one of those expanding foam in a can deals. But he said it works pretty well on masks if you take it slow.

I think he said you can use water as an activator for it. But he basically said the same thing, if you don\'t do it just right you end up with a basketball.

first time I foam filled I got a nice airbubble in the chin. Sad nice foam filled mask with a hollow chin, lol.

Why don\'t you try to make a shell around it? Cover it with a bag or saran wrap and cover the outside with plaster bandages then fill the mask while it\'s inside the shell?
