that's so terrible to hear . I'm sure he's in a place where he feels no more pain which is good as you never want your pet to be in any pain just as you don't want the same for your children . 2 years ago I lost both of my dogs in the same month and I thought the first one hurt but then the 2nd dog 2 weeks later just about killed me . I pretty much blocked everything out and didn't want to do much of anything . Your house gets so quiet but you'll never forget them . I still think what it'd be like today with them . He knows how much you cared for him just as much as he did you .

I have another dog, Smokey. That would kill me too. Soo sorry for you.

I am so sorry bro.. thats terrible news... I couldn't do that with my German Shepards... I have been workin with them for 4 years now and have only lost 1 pup due to still birth and it nearly killed me.. Losin an animal in my opinion is worse then losin a person.. Just hits ina different way.. My thoughts are with ya bro...

That sucks my friend. I have 4 dogs and I can't imagine losing any of them. It really shows you loved him alot and cared for him very much. Try and hang in there and when the time comes go rescue a a brand new pup. It will make you feel fantastic. You can't replace him but but you can save one from the needle. I feel for you brother.

i cannot imagine the pain that you are going through brother and im deeply sorry for your loss.....dogs are like family members and are irreplaceable and i was deeply sadden when i saw this post.....my hearts go out to you and your family members with this tragic loss.....take care brother........

Again Tom, I'm so sorry to hear this, and what you had to go through. Sadly, it's a terrible fact of pet owning, but like you said, you ebjoy every minute they're around, and do right by them, which is exactly what you did. Take care man, take it easy and do right by yourself now.
