Lol, yep... i\'m determined to get this one nailed mate. I know it\'s got a way to go yet, and progress will be slow. If i get stuck, i\'ll put it away for a week and attack it with a fresh perspective. I find thats always the best way.
I guess we\'ll see eh?

Right, just done another 40 or so minutes but it\'s late again here now. Have made more alterations, but will thin it out a bit further tomorrow.

Looking better and better Daz! You see,you have to stretch the face out more, and not focus so much on making it look like the picture you made the split image with, since the mask is stretched over a book in that picture.

Ok mate, thanks. I thought that pic just didn\'t look right, lol.
Got a bit further on today, but still more to do. Reshaped various parts and started the thinning out.

Thanks, still got more to do, but i had a bit of time with it today and got some shots in dim lighting to see if he looked any good with shadows.
He\'s coming along slowly Just a quick note to say that i WON\'T be offering the finished piece for sale here. I\'m doing this solely for the challenge, not to compete with anyone

Already looking better, and loving the mouth! Now work more on making those eyeholes way smaller. The eyeholes on the Hero were large enough to show the entire eye and a little piece of skin, thats all.Keep \'em small! Also, work a little more on making the upper side of the mask ( forehead, eyebrows, bridge) Look a little more Kirkish.

Thanks, that\'ll be the first two parts i attack tomorrow. I\'m still looking at thinning the nose a bit more also.

Speaking of the nose, slim it down on the part near the eyes, give it a rounder, fatter look at the bottom and make it a little crooked, pointing to the right.
