Has anyone here ever used Western Union? From what I understand, its a site that lets you send money orders through the internet using a card. I dont really understand how it works.

I have these debit card (giftcards) that I want to use up. Can I make money orders with them through that site?

Also, after you make the money order, does it get directly shipped to them through mail, or do they have to pick it up at their local western union office?

If anyone has any info about this, please post it! Blush

i used them a few times with dealing with people over seas they have alot of hidden fees and if you go to walmart sometimes they have a westerunion station there or certain grocery store. They require nore information to send money that credit card companies need to give you credit. the gift card question i would call their 1800 number and ask them directley but if they are visa/mastercard/amex gift cards you should be able too i would think
