Well, I just got watching the movie for the first time on DVD, GREAT film. I\'d suggest giving it a rent, pretty cool special features including great shots of his mask and concept masks they made and all the F/X work they did (Done by KNB studios). You can tell andrew has real heart for the character as they said in the interview with him, most the actors were scared s-hitless of him. Lol.

Saw it in the theater and will never watch it again. Basically a rehash of the remake from a couple years ago. Nothing new here. In fact...probably the worst thing I\'ve seen in a long time. But we can\'t all see things the same way, now can we? lol.
Not trying to discourage anyone from seeing it, others may love it.

I wasn\'t expecting it to re-define modern horror films, I just love Lface and his whole character, I thought it was interesting to see how he was molded into the killer we know and love, the birth of an icon.


I wonder if they\'ll do a friday the 13th the beggining next.

i personally liked the movie i have seen it 4 times now 3 in theaters and 1 on dvd and i think it is good although it seems that it has the same jest from the remake it is still a pretty good prequel

The only thing I hated about the movie was his mask when he skinned eric. Wasn\'t really the mask it\'s self but more the hair. It looked like he was rocking a mullet and that just...yeah, sucked. Lol.

Tell ya what I like about the mask in this one.It\'s how they\'ve got that fresh look to it,more fresh skin than old leather,it\'ll be hard to do a good copy of it.
I\'m from the UK, what\'s "rocking a mullet" ?

I have yet to get the DVD but it was good when i saw it at the movies mile:
