Quote:The only thing I hated about the movie was his mask when he skinned eric. Wasn\'t really the mask it\'s self but more the hair. It looked like he was rocking a mullet and that just...yeah, sucked. Lol.

I liked the mask, I don\'t know how they got that fresh look to it. It\'ll be an aukward one to copy.

Mullet = Buisness in the front, party in the back baby! Tongue

I liked the movie, and bought it at Best Buy where if you bought that you also got bubba for free.
The movie itself is pretty brutal and my wife just about walked out of the theater but thats a good thing.
I never had a deep seated love for TCM, so when they remade it, i really enjoyed the hell out of both films.

Quote:Saw it in the theater and will never watch it again.  Basically a rehash of the remake from a couple years ago.  Nothing new here.  In fact...probably the worst thing I\'ve seen in a long time.  But we can\'t all see things the same way, now can we? lol.
Not trying to discourage anyone from seeing it, others may love it.

I agree with Willowman, nuthin new here...i was expecting sooo much. Made me sad to see it...and i hear another is in the pipes....the remake suprised everyone i expected to hate it and was shocked that i loved it, but the guys at newline can\'t let anything go...theres milking a golden goose...then theres beating a dead horse. Just my 2 cents...give it a try if you havent seen it yet.

Brutal is the best word to describe this film. I did not like that much in the theater. I found it much better uncut on DVD.
As far as a new film for the TCM franchise goes.
Knew Line has three major horror icons in there pocket. Two have clashed. Coming soon bubba Vs. Jason maybe? Remeber what happened to the Universal Monsters when they started to fade from cinema. Universal began to Cross them over in films leading to a film that hosted Frankenstein, Wolfman and Dracula. Image all three modern horror icons in one film. It could be closer then we think.
It\\\'s all true. God\\\'s an Astronaut. Oz is Over the Rainbow, and Midian is where the monsters live.

saw it 3 times in the theatre and was at walmart monday night waiting for them to put it on the shelf lol . oh and the best thing is i got the 2-pack with the unrated version and also the 2003 remake for $20 and it\'s really good because i lost my last copy of the remake . i just got back from circuit city and saw the remake at $30 so i pretty much got mine for free . also if you haven\'t watched it yet , the bonus stuff on the begining is awesome .

I really enjoyed this movie. When they set out to make this film I really in all honesty don\'t think they were trying to break any new grounds in the horror genre. This is a film of the modern time. It is what it is. A film that explains how things came to be in the 2003 remake. I just love TCM films. Old and new. Big Grin
