I was surprised! I am not all too fond of the new look of the turtles...the fact that they look more human than like turtles. But the movie was surprisingly good! I was entertained through the whole thing! I went to the latest showing Sunday night so there wouldn't be that many kids, and the theater seemed to be filled with teenagers and college students. If you have kids or just like the Ninja Turtles, you should check it out! <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />I suck at giving reviews... I have a short attention span, so usually if it keeps me entertained, that means it's good, lol. But this movie has all the popular characters: The turtles, Splinter, Casey Jones, April Oneil, the footclan... unfortunately there is no appearance by Shredder, but there is a mention of him. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />

I think for some reason you\'ll see a lot of teens and college aged people who were into the turtles as a kid. I wish I went to see that last night instead of Hills2

Yeah, its some kids movie... 80's kids. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"rolleyes.gif\" /> I thought it was totally awesome and very fun all the way through. I felt like digging out my toys after it was over. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/woot.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":woot:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"woot.gif\" /> At first, I thought the people they were fighting were too epic or 'out there' for the Turtles, but then I started thinking about the old cartoon and comic where they'd fight pizza monster alien rip-offs, Krang, Rocksteady and Bebop, Baxter and all those crazy off the wall characters and then I was sold. Like I said, very fun from start to finish, most especially if you were a huge fan when they first came out.I hope they make a sequel with the Shredder!

My roomate saw it and said it's alot closer to the 'original' turtles then the tv shows/cartoons and the movies ever were.People seem to forget that the original turtles were extremely bloody, violent and brutal. Killed people outright. hell they blew up Shredder. The original comic had like, rape murder and all kinds of crazy she-at. That cartoon that came out, where they all had big round eyes and said stupid sh*t like, "cowabunga" and loved pizza and all that crap, that was NOT what the turtles were. They took a dark, serious and violent comic and turned it into a crappy kids show.That being said, I'll probably watch the movie when it comes to dvd and hope that it's actually violent and more true to the original TMNT comic. The original comic was brilliant. The cartoon and the movies sucked imo.

I don\'t see how anyone can judge a movie based on how it looks..only movie I did that with was \"bring it on\" LOLYa the comics were also before the turtles were a HUGE popular fad. In the publics eye, the cartoon and movies ARE the ninja turtles. Normal people just don\'t care about the orgins of things. Which is sad to say but true.The comics were released in 1984....they didn\'t gain huge popularity till at least 4 years later. If it wasn\'t for the cartoon and movies, we wouldn\'t be talking about the ninja turtles now. Think I cared about a violent comic when I was 10 years old? hell no! I wanted to see the turtles being the turtles that I knew them as in the cartoon. Why are we all complaining about this movie? The people that saw it said they liked it, the people who haven\'t seen it yet don\'t want to. I would rather take the word of people who have seen the damn movie
