I seen it on the Friday it opened and all I can say is WOW! This is the best horror film I have seen in probably a year. I absolutely loved the first and loved this one even more. Way more gore and with the addition of the military element made it even better than I first thought it would be. It really does feel like a sequel even without the characters from the first. If you liked or didn't like the first I know you will like this film. I want to see it again so bad once I get time to. IMO though it is not a zombie film though alot of people say it is, they are infected not dead.

I heard it was awesome from several people. The trailers weren\'t done very well, though if you ask me. I\'m going to check it out; should be good.

I absolutely hated the first one, but I heard good things about the second one and it was amazing! I do agree the trailers weren't that appealing.

Really surprised that there hasn't been too much talk about this movie on the forum up until now. I too seen 28 Weeks Later on opening day and was very happy to do so because it kicked a$$. The opening scenes were great and set the pace through out the flick, and it never really let up. Way better then the first film and one of the better horror movies I've seen in a long time, plus it was gory which is always a plus!

Saw it too on opening weekend with my girl. Great movie! Love how that put in that track "in a heartbeat" in the soundtrack again. Loved it from the end of the first 28 Days Later. Man that Rage virus is freaky stuff.

I loved the first one, it was one of my favorite movies. Looking forward to seeing number 2. I hate when people say it's a crappy zombie movie because it's not even a zombie movie like you pointed out. These people are infected with a disease that came from a monkey bite.

Save your $$$ I've seen this film before, it was called 28 days later. Came across this review from one of Australia's best film critics - nail on the head I say.................Review discussionBig GrinAVID: (28 Weeks Later) A bit disappointed, Margaret.MARGARET: Oh?DAVID: And that was mainly because I think the director Fresnadillo’s idea of creating action and suspense is chaos. I mean it happens time and again during this film. Every time there’s something really dramatic, an attack or something really exciting is going on, he just goes chaotic - all over the place, and the music, which is a terrible music score, just goes boom, boom, boom, getting louder and louder and louder. I mean it’s sort of puerile, I think. MARGARET: You see, I have - would call it impressionistic rather than chaotic.DAVID: I think that’s true but you see – yeah...MARGARET: And I thought the way he used the music and the soundtrack, where it is really loud and then it goes to absolute silence...DAVID: Is so corny...MARGARET: I loved it. I’m a sucker for corn.DAVID: Yeah, and I don’t like impressionistic horror films. I like - I like my horror films to be - you know, to have...MARGARET: Explicit and gory and....DAVID: Well, it doesn’t have to be explicit and gory but it doesn’t have to be so that I don’t know what on earth is going on or who is doing what to who, so I was a bit disappointed with this.

I enjoyed this movie. I was on the edge of my seat through the whole movie because it was constant action. That was probably the only flaw (if it can be considered a flaw): more action than story.
