My Submission Tournament

hey guys just felt like sharing my good news... this past sunday i had my first submission tournament (official competition) no striking, bummer lo but i took 2 1st place medals in my weight class in 2 different divisions... guys let me tell you it was a rush, hahaha my first match i did the "rampage slam" guy had me in a Guellitine choke on the mat.. stood up lifted him in the air jumping off the mat and boom. the crowd went nuts lol i won that fight bye points, but i made my other oppnents tap out, my team took the first place trophey so my instuctor was really happy, im gonna post pics up asap i gotta get the disc the pics are on and upload them.... and i just got some other good news, MMa is legall in the state of PA now, which meaans no more driving 2 hours to nj lol just have to wait to pass legislation for it, one day you'll see me in the cage <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"tongue.gif\" /> and ill tell justin to sponsor me and wear a differnet mask everytime lol... anyway all in all it was good fun

As a fellow MMA & BJJ fan, congratulations man. I myself am going to go to my second BJJ class this Friday, it's good stuff just wish I had more time to dedicate myself to it. Be sure to post pics, and what tournament did you enter? hahhaha i know it was from the triangle but i thought he just slammed someone else from the guellitine either way rampage is nasty at slamming people lol... the bjj tournament was sponsored by UGC.. ultimate grapplers challenge ill get some pics soon hopefully guys, thanks

ive been training bjj seriously for about 2 months straight... but i used to wrestle in highschool, and ive always loved doing mma but i started training everyday about 2 months ago also

Wrestler here too...man i\'d love to do submission wrestling. I\'m in shape but not in that kind of shape anymore lol. The sucky part about MMA is getting hit in the face LOL...Could never do that.

hahahah yeah at first i didnt think i was still in shape b/c ive been getting into lifting like heavily so i thought my cardio would suck but i was surpriesed at myself, i stoped lifting to get big i just do it for endurance.... and i dont mind getting hit in the face lol ive been punched/ hit in the face a good amount.... i do it everyday so im used to it haha, but dont get me wrong it sucks sometimes lol
