I Had A Mask Desaster

hey, as some of you may know i was working on a some what original take on the firday part 8 makeup. well i started molding the sculpture yeasterday, and i notice my plaster had little lumps in it from were it had been setting too long in my basement, but i desided to screen it and try to use it anyway, well as far as i can tell the mold never even cured, i dont think it could cure, from what i can tell i think the water and dust(well what should have been dust) werent mixing, so it just dryed together like a lump of dirt. So, anyways i tryed to de-mold it, even though i was pretty sure it woudlnt come off in tact, to try and solvage my sculpture, but i couldnt do that either. im going to try to resculpt it soon, i just hope i can do it as good as i did last time, for me second trys ussuily dont go so well.

I know some of you were interested in this sculpture. so i figured id give you all an update sence i cant find my other topic i started a while back ago.

Thanks for your condolences.. . Well i started putting the bigger peices of the clay that were intact back on the armiture, and then filled in between them to make it whole again, but unfortunatly,as clay does when its pulled, it was deformed so the shape is WAY off, but after i get the clay all back on there and smoothed out, im gonna try my best to get close to the same form as the old one had. then ill be able to redo the detail. hopfully ill be done with the mold by the time i start college this fall, if i dont then it\'ll be a while before ill have the time to wurry about it. BTW, just because the last sculpture got messed up doesnt mean the name soggy boots is up for grabs.. :lol: . Im still gonna use it for the new one.
