    Ok..2 years ago i made boot lifts for my boots. The rubber was "borrowed" from a place I used to work. Im not even sure why it was there. It was 2" thick. Does anyone know were to get this stuff at?? I can buy a 4x4' sheet for like $1000.00, lol, but i only need 2 ft, by 5 inches wide. Any ideas??!!!??!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?! Ive checked ebay for drops, but no one has anything over 1/4".... <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"blink.gif\" /> <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" /> <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Huh\" border=\"0\" alt=\"huh.gif\" /> <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mellow.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"mellow.gif\" /> <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ninja.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":ninja:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"ninja.gif\" /> Thanks

Could you make your own? You could get a perfectly stable surface i.e. a mirror and create a box type mold and pour in latex? Id say with some trimming you could get a 98% even sheet.

When I made the lifts and soles for my Jason boots, I used the foam floor padding found at hardware stores. Usually it comes in a bundle of 4 squares and they have toothed edges so they fit together like a puzzle. They also make them for kids playrooms, if you don't mind pinks and purples! <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />

yeah we have them in our garage that would be a good idea there like 4 for a buck in a dollar tore there 1'x1' maybethey look like big jigsaw puzzle pieces and have very small teeth on the face of it i think ill try that i will try to find a pic, i dont know how they would wear on the ground, i had an idea where you literally with a jigsaw cut a stip offan old tire just the tread face and affix it to your boot just as the part that touches the ground they would have good looking tread patterns and you can find old tires anywhere, and they woulnd twear from walking- Aaron
