well my dog of 15 years named Copper has to be put to sleep today and the van is on it's way right now to pick him up . i mean it's good in a way because he won't hurt anymore as he has 2 big tumors on him , bad back , and his back leg wabble alot . this really sucks and my mom is having a really hard time as well as she's been crying for hours . with the money i was hoping to get from my masks for sale , i was planning on using that for the next horrorhound but i'd rather buy my mom a new dog . maybe another austrailian shepard . i took a pic of him just a few mintues ago but if i can't get it posted on here then i'll get it up on myspace . mike,

Sorry, dude. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Sad\" border=\"0\" alt=\"sad.gif\" /> Losing a pet is the same as losing a family member. I hope you find some peace with the situation. It looks like you already have, though. Sometimes it's for the best. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Sad\" border=\"0\" alt=\"sad.gif\" />

I think losing a pet is one of the hardest things in life, ecspecially one you've had so long. Eventully, they become part of the family and losing them is like losing a loved one. I am sorry for your loss man.

You and your family are in my thoughts man.
I have a ritual called \\\"terminator\\\". I crouch in the shower in the \\\"naked terminator\\\" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

I agree with Fang. I lost a dog of mine years ago and I wasn't even expecting it. it does really suck, but you'll be fine in no time. My grandmother lost her poodel of 15 years about 3 months ago and he was her child. She's doing good now, and has got 2 new ones that she loves just as much as the last one. She has a memorial and all that for the poodel. Best of luck on your recovery man.
