Yeah, my aunt didn't know they were making a film and we were told to stay behind the barriers by police. David Naughton was a really nice guy and told us they would be shooting a dramatic scene in Picadilly Circus the same evening if we wanted to go and watch. My uncle took me and my sister out, we watched the stunt drivers crashing cars into each other, it was fantastic to see it being made. We never got to see the warewolf, I would loved to have seen it, but it would probably have scared the shit out of me then!! I couldn't believe the colossal amount of cameras and film crew. It was a great experience for me as a kid, I just cant believe it was back in 1981 !!!!!!! I raved about it at school on the following Monday. I wish i had got David Naughton and John Landis' autographs. I recognised Jenny Aguter from the "railway children". I'd never of known who she was otherwise. She was stood in front of us with a large flask of tea watching the action!! She was a nice looking woman, although I didn't take much notice back then. Fond memories indeed!!!! I met Brian Glover a few years ago before he died, (the bald bloke in the Slaughtered lamb) I have also met Rik Mayall a few times too, he was the chess player in the pub.. he's a top comedian here in the UK (Look him up on youtube, very funny man and very sucessful!) <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

Jenny Aguter. Nurse Alex Price. I think most guys have fond memories of her after watching AWIL in the early 80's!<!--quoteo(post=250917:date=Jan 11 2008, 03:55 PM:name=Savage)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(Savage @ Jan 11 2008, 03:55 PM) <a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=250917\"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecYeah, my aunt didn't know they were making a film and we were told to stay behind the barriers by police. It's off topic, but here's Rik Mayall (the chess player), as Ritchie, and Brain Glover as Mr Rottweiler in a comedy series over here called "Bottom". Enjoy!....LOL!!<a href=\"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IE0wtMzuXg\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IE0wtMzuXg</a>
