It is true though, a character that is supposed to be a Vietnam vet should be much younger than Stallone..probably like 25 or something.

I already seen it, go check my thread for a review. This is the best one of the whole series, and probably the best movie I personally ever seen.

Matt I am with you been counting the hours down till I can go see it. I am surprised that nobody on here has mentioned all the glorious GORE!!! I counted at least 1 gutting, 1 exploding head, 1 throat ripping, 1 decapitation and so much more I can not even explain nor want to spoil anything and these are just from clips and the red band trailer. I for one grew up on the Rambo films and love the first two not two big on the third one but its ok. This one (while appearing a bit low budget) looks to be the most violent yet!! Glad to hear your review Fang. Well off to see it! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />

My local theatre doesn't have it yet. I'm so disappointed. I've been waiting for this film since '89.

Well just returned from the film and WOW! And the most violent gory film award goes to.... Rambo! Stallone is one hell of a great director and in amazing shape for a 61 year old here. Gives me faith in a 65 year old Harrison Ford returning as Indy. Really loved this film, sadly I did kinda miss the great theme music created by Jerry Goldsmith from the other three Rambo films. However this Rambo film is nothing like the others but in a good way. I loved that they make a concerted effort to keep it as part of the series with flashbacks and bringing the series round full circle with a touch of closer. Some really bad CGI is present but not enought to spoil things. Still if this is any sign of the shape of films to come this year we are in for one hell of a great ride! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

Just got back from seeing it with the wife.HOLY F%#KING S#IT!!!! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/woot.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":woot:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"woot.gif\" /> I absolutely LOVED it!!! It kicked the crap out of part 3, which Stallone has said in past interviews that Rambo 3 'didn't work'. This was a very realistic look at what's happening right now in Burma, and other places on the other side of our planet. The first 3-4 minutes were 'actual footage' of what's going on over there. Sly went all out for this one, let me tell ya. I, like many others here, have grown up watching 'Rocky' & 'Rambo', and I went to see the latest installments of BOTH films, not expecting a hell of a lot, considering the fact that one was part 6 and the other was part 4. Stallone is BACK, that's all I can say.His version of Rambo in this one is a guy that is EXTREMELY pissed at the world. The fact that there are some quick flashback's with Col. Trautman, and scenes from the 1st 2 films is awesome. Even the opening and closing scenes feature the music from the original.I won't say too much. JUST GO SEE IT!! ANY fan of Rambo or Stallone WON'T be dissapointed. Just prep yourself for a 'right to the point' 'face to face' look at what's happening over in Burma, and oh ya, if you're squeamish, be prepared to get whiplash 'cause you'll be turning your head MANY times! My wife has a goddamned migraine!! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sick.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Sick\" border=\"0\" alt=\"sick.gif\" /> -A
