For the last 3 days I havn't been able to get any of the videos on YouTube to work (or any video that uses Flash Player). I don't know what the hell is going on. It keeps saying that either JavaScript is turned off or I need to download an updated version of FP. Well my JavaScript is on and when I downloaded an updated FP it says it was sucessfully installed yet the videos still won't play. Does anyone know what might be causing this? YouTube worked fine up untill last Friday night.

Well if your PC worked before as far as playing Flash and using JavaScript... you can always simplify this issue w/ a system restore. This will just change your settings back to the way they were before you received an update or accidentally corrupted the files. You will NOT lose any mp3's, documents, etc... however you will lose any programs that you installed since that date if there were any. Usually no biggie. <!--coloro:#FF0000<span style=\"color:#FF0000\"><!--/coloroTo do this click start, run, type restore and click ok. Double click the "rstrui" icon and select restore to an earlier date. Choose the date that was before the time all this weird crap started happening and click next to restore. This will reboot your system and set it back to the old settings. If it cannot be succesfully restored, try again using an older date until it works.<!--colorc</span><!--/colorcSystem restore can be a life saver and saves the headaches!=CHAD=

Firefox 2 and 3 beta had known Flash issues. I believe those issues were pretty much fixed in the final release of 3 that came out last week. Going back to an earlier release of Flash usually fixed the problem.

That is actually a youtube bug and myspace as well. I get that sometimes, but then clear my cache, delete files etc, and that usually does it. Be careful about youtube files, and never 'click to download' files from there or myspace, as they could be viruses in disguise. I had that happen before too on an older system thankfully.

I had this problem about a year ago, it ended up being a problem on YouTube's end. There was even an announcement on the page about a lot of people experiencing the problem. I havent had any problems recently though.

You just have to go download the Firefox compatible version of flash from the Adobe website. That's all I did and I haven't had an issue with it since.
