Are you ready for a big tease? In the new issue of Entertainment Weekly they released the first ever image from Friday the 13th, which features a very tiny look at Jason Voorhees! You can check it out inside. Arriving in theaters February 13, 2009, the pic directed by Marcus Nispel is the retelling of the original Friday the 13th about teenaged summer camp counselors that are systematically slaughtered by a mysterious killer. Jason Voorhees will wear the mask and kill, keeping the famous setting of Crystal Lake. What's with the freddy vs. jason jacket? What ever happened to the green/blue workshirt I always tried to copy as a kid for my costumes! LOLPretty cool pic though. Nice crystal clear cinematograohy with a hint of earthy color filters huh?

This picture doesn't do a damn thing. Also is it just me, or does it look like Jason isn't even wearing a shirt under the jacket? I know, he probably is it's the color that's throwing me off.

Alright now thats just not fair... lolWhy do they have to do this to us! Why not give us a legit picture! Oh well it looks sick as hell there... Love the fog in the background.And I agree with Dan... I was hoping for a classic workshirt. But its funny you say green or blue because thats how i grew up thinking it was, either or. The jacket worked in VS, but I dont think it will work in this... Its summer for christ sake.

Hockey mask eye hole - prosthetic eye which may get an eye-blink CG’ed in.Body type - lean, because he lives in the forest surviving on animals.Upper body - fake skin suit, crooked spine/hunchback.Jacket - long, sewn-together combo of a hunting jacket & military style jacket.Tshirt - full of holes, can see skin underneath.Hands - long nails.Footwear - regular well worn combat boots.Jason is still a mama’s boy, and that he transitions from bag-head to hockey mask
