We need a show of hands to see how many whiners were actually old enough to see an original F13th in the theatres......the originals were cheesy and fun.....why can't this one be?

I wish I was man, I can't help I wasn't born 10 years earlier. It could still be good, who knows. Just the fact that I'm seeing a Jason that looks like the FVJ version is unimpressive to me. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" />

This isnt the 80's guys, we cant expect the same magic we got back then. This is for a newer audience and a retelling of it.Would you want to see a exact copy of the original movie, mask and comstume?if so just pop in the original.Im excited to see another F13th on the big screen.....

I think my point is that most folks have this overly "romantic" idealization of the original F13th films.....they were crudely made and had bad acting. But we still love 'em dearly and tend to waaay overlook their many flaws, which people tend to focus like lasers on the newer films. Turn that keen criticism on any of the originals and they wont hold up any better. Nostalgia is a strong force.................................Larry

at least he's not a zombie anymore (at least it looks like it)I don't hate the look, but the workshirt would be a nice throwback.

Marcus Nispal did a great job on the TCM remake and I'm more than positive he'll do just the same on this film. He has a great style that I dig.
