It was a denium workshirt as scott saidhttp://www.fridaythe13thprops.de/bilder/props/8_shirtEither do some bleaches in areas or get a lighter shirt and dye it darker in areas (i think that will make it look more fresh).http://www.fridaythe13thprops.de/bilder/props/8_costume

Cool... This costume should turn out well. I'm going to get the first proto in my size. I'm 6"3 and 225 lbs so I should pull off the look!

Steve, you can get that podge stuff at WalMart in the craft section. My local WalMart sucks but even they have it. Big white bottle with orange or red lettering I think? I'd be very interested to see how this turns out!

I say keep it screen accurate Bell. To me in the screenies, it's obvious that he's wearing blue so I would go for that but then again, I'm a stickler for screen accurate costumes.-Joseph

Yeah i rarely see a point in putting together a behind the scenes costume, unless you plan on doing the same the movie did, letting the lighting and setting do the job on ur camera. I say try 1 screen accurate and 1 behind the scenes. Play around with your skills.

No question about it, go for black!! I actually took an online poll of over 1000 people. when people think back to seeing part 8 as a kid (part 7) as well. not one person said either costume was anything but black. and isn't that what really matters ? what the average person looking at the costume will remember. but im just a newbie, what do I (and 1000) other people know ????? LOL

I started the shirt today. I used black as the first test shirt. Well see how the podge looks when it dries! I also started the rotted arms sing tube socks, oatmeal and latex!
