<a href=\"http://www.dvdactive.com/news/releases/halloween4.html\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.dvdactive.com/news/releases/halloween4.html</a>Not sure how I feel about it just yet, but it appears to be a rip-off since most if not all of us own H1, 4 and 5 already...I didn't pay nearly 90 bucks either.check it out...post your thoughts.

    Oh boy! That stellar mask is worth the $90 alone! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":whistling:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"whistling.gif\" />

This is one of those things that no one buys and ends up being worth $500 next year.

I'm still trying to figure out who this set is for. The hardcore fan already has all these movies. The casual fan will wonder why a boxed set of a 9 movie franchise has only 3 movies included. With the extended cut of H1 as the exception, you can buy these movies individually for less than $90.

I don't think that I would buy this set as I am perfectly happy with the Halloween dvds that I allready have.I am not a big fan of having ten versions of each movie.

I should start by saying I've been suckered into buying the original Halloween (along with a few of the sequels) at least 5-6 times (probably more) over the past decade. But I will NOT be buying this POS box set. Seriously, besides that awful mask, is there anything new in this set? No. It's all the same stuff in shiny new packaging. Why don't they get those hours of lost footage from the original onto the DVD? That's what I want to see. In fact, that's the only way I'd buy another version of Halloween. I don't even want any more documentaries...I mean, it's all been talked about to death. And believe me, I'm one of the biggest Halloween fans out there...but enough is enough. I just don't see what makes this set appealing to someone who already owns these discs....
