When I make a purchase on a mask I normally don't put them on or wear them for show.I mostly purchase latex masks to make a bust or mannequin display.I assume that silicone masks are meant to be worn as they mold to your face. How many of you purchase a mask to actually wear them?

I only buy what I can wear being I compete in parades and contests, and do character portrayals. Then when I am done with the costume it turns into a life-sized display for a few months, so I can enjoy it like the people got to enjoy me wearing it. I do not have the room to just buy busts and have them sit around and collect dust, nor the extra cash. However someday when I have a big house I will have a room dedicated to horror displays, and have those FT13 and NOES wall paper behind each character, as well as the proper lighting. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />

When I purchased my SPFX Fred I wore it like 4 times. Once to see how it fits, second for pictures, third for Halloween, and fourth I scared one of my brother's friends with it! Sadly though it tore. But really, who would wear their masks besides on Halloween?

The only high end mask that I have tried on one time was my Psycho Myers. This mask does look a lot better worn than just sitting on a mask stand without having an actual head to keep the shape of the mask.I am always a little nervous that you will tear the mask when removing it as I am sure many people have done this especially with an older mask. This is the main reason that I don't like to wear them.

I do. Theirs no point in wasting 300 dollers on a mask just to let is sit on a sleeve, masks are ment to be worn that's why when I order a mask I get it cut for wear.

I never wear any of my masks. To me they are all collectibles, and I treat them like gold. I understand that some people like to wear them, but I just don't get into the whole dress up thing except for Halloween parties. I can sit in my mask room for hours and look at them, I never get tired of it. To each his own I guess.

I never wear mine. I think I've only put one mask on the entire time I've collected masks and that was my Doll Collector and it was only once. Honestly my opinion is a lot like gummi's above.

I only buy wearable masks, I have a couple of ones that aren't but the sellers of those never mentioned they weren't wearable so I naturally assumed it when I bought them. I buy masks cause I want to use them in fanmovies, halloween parties etc not to just let them sit on a shelf collecting dust. Of course, when I wear them I still treat them carefully and always makes sure not to get them dirty or damaged.
